Who We Are Looking For:
Fooda is looking to add an Accounting Associate to our growing Finance and Accounting Team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for both Accounts Payable and Receivable. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Associate will report directly to Fooda’s Vice President of Finance and Accounting and will be offered the opportunity to work cross functionally in our growing markets.

- You’re detail oriented, keep lists of tasks and never “forget” to finish an assignment
- You’re comfortable with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- You have a strong work ethic and don’t need someone to tell you to work hard
- You’re confident in multi-tasking
- You are content in working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Comfortable in a changing space where deadlines and timelines shift
What You Will Be Doing:
- Process both weekly and monthly customer invoices in NetSuite
- Manage customer billing statements
- Apply customer credit card payments and clearing ACH customer payments
- Ad hoc analyses as requested
- Utilize vendor bill payments in NetSuite adhering to specific time frames
- Assist with month end closing procedures including bank reconciliations to ensure all financial activities are properly recorded
- Respond to Fooda’s customer questions/inquires regarding their financial activity
What You Should Already Have:
- 1-2 year(s) of Accounting Experience (preferably in a Start Up Environment)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
- Experience with Quickbooks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
- Self-motivation and flexibility to improve upon processes and grow within role
- Proven skills demonstrating a strong work ethic adhering to both Fooda’s internal employee and external customers need
