Work Shift:
B Shift (United States of America)This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas for shipping while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Job Summary (Essential Job Duties Only):
Minimum 4 lot checks per shift: Check temperature, fuel, and inside of any unsealed trailers.
Fuel trailers as needed.
After each lot check, must review and update trailer inventory in both DLx and in TES to ensure accuracy of trailers.
Assist in moving trailers to and from the dock doors to the trailer lot as needed.
Special Skills Required:
Must be able to pull hose out of spool mounted on fuel tanks, requiring approximately 20 lbs. of pulling force.
Must be able to walk a great deal (approximately 1 ½ miles per day) around concrete parking lots.
Must have basic operating knowledge of DLx and TES computer systems.
Must be certified to operate shag truck per company policy.
