About the Role
Serving with our FBC Staff Team is more than an administrative position. As a member of the Operations Team, the Office Manager values bringing excellence to how we connect the attention to detail needed for managing ministry data with strong, efficient systems to support ministry events, clear communication, and healthy volunteer teams. This person supports as a super-user of our church management software, Community Builder, and is passionate about the logistics and organizational details that keep our team serving with excellence. This full-time position provides support during business hours, Monday-Friday, and occasional weekend and evening support.
Several of the assignments they oversee include:
Mentoring Operations Administrators and oversight of our Administrative Volunteers
Administrative Support for Gathering Grounds Café & the Safety Volunteer Team
Facilities Assistance Requests & Volunteer Communication
Orientation & Staff Appreciation Coordination
Contractor & Vendor Appointments
Phone System Oversight
Oversight of Volunteer Vetting Process with background, credit & motor vehicle reports
