JOB TITLE: Sales Account Coordinator
POSITION TYPE: Full time
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Sales Account Coordinator, this role will manage the daily operations with the customers of Foremost Farms on the cheese, butter, and ingredients product lines. This role is responsible for ensuring customer needs are addressed cross-functionally within the organization including various teams such as Commercial, Planning, Supply Chain, R&D amongst others. Serving as the daily contact and interaction point for our customers in Foremost Farms mission to be a market-led and customer centric organization
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibility for ~20% of Foremost Farms total customer base as the primary sales account coordinator, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to brokers and distributors. Ownership includes but is not limited to the following:
- Building relationships at all levels of the organization, internally and externally, to ensure collaboration, trust, and transparency
- Ensuring orders are received, entered, and confirmed back to customers accurately and timely
- Following up and communicating on production and inventory status, including resolving issues that may arise with delayed shipments, order fill rate, etc.
- Understanding inventory levels and current customers’ demands to provide accurate forecasts back to the organization for our Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning analytics
- Working actively with customers on new products, processes, and other areas to ensure growth of volumes and margin long-term
- Responsible for ensuring accurate pricing on customer orders, and working with finance to ensure all deductions and credits are processed quickly and resolved with the customers to maintain cash flow targets
- Ensuring all quality complaints get escalated appropriately within the organization and quick, clear, and accurate information gets shared back to the customer
- Regular proactive conversations with customers to understand where we can assist with short-term and long- term gaps; working to understand their business model to help us serve them better
- Responsibility, in partnership with National Sales Account Managers, for adoption and data accuracy within our CRM Platform (Salesforce). Creating a customer 360 view for the organization
- Maintaining customer documentation and SOPs in accordance with record retention policies
- Potential travel up to 25% of the time for customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and plant visits
- Weekend rotation required every 3-4 weeks, on-call basis to ensure customer needs are met for any emergency situations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This position requires an associate degree or some college coursework and three to five years of job-related experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and Sales Force Experience
