As a Service Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of expanding our Fire & Life Safety services. Your mission is to promote and sell our comprehensive range of testing, inspections, service repairs, and alarm monitoring. You'll engage with property managers and decision-makers, showcasing the value of our services through compelling presentations and strategic sales calls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive Growth: Expand our service base by selling fire and life safety testing & inspections, service repairs, and alarm monitoring.
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed individual annual service sales quotas.
- Lead Management: Execute and manage sales leads and calls using our CRM software.
- Pipeline Maintenance: Keep an up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring all prospects are tracked and followed up.
- Customer Acquisition: Develop new customer accounts through cold calling, identifying needs, pitching relevant services, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain effective communication with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
- Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any customer issues, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the VFS service team to deliver outstanding customer service from order to delivery and beyond.
- Continuous Improvement: Perform customer surveys, develop vendor relations, and continually enhance your sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of experience selling Fire Protection services to Property Managers and End Users.
- Familiarity with industry standards for testing and inspection requirements (NFPA 25 and 72).
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The Team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
