About The Job

Fortis Institute is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Program Director for the Medical Assisting program. If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.

Requirements:

  • An associate degree is required
  • Completion of a Medical Assisting program
  • CMA, RMA, and/or CCMA certification
  • Excellent skills in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communications.
  • Ability to provide effective direction and leadership and work effectively and collaboratively with others.
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Prior postsecondary-related teaching experience of at least 2 years, preferrably teach future MA students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $52,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • Associate (Required)

  • Higher education teaching: 2 years (Required)
  • Leadership: 1 year (Required)
  • Medical Assisting: 4 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CCMA Certification (Preferred)
  • RMA (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Pensacola, FL 32514: Relocate before starting work (Required)
