In today's culinary world, perfection and execution is key. Parkwest Casino is searching for an exceptional and talented Sous Chef with these character traits. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the kitchen and everyday matters. With a top of the line menu and talented staff, we are looking for that innovative professional who will inspire the kitchen to the next level. The right candidate will help us provide guests with the most outstanding food and dining experience. Responsibilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
Physical and mental requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
- Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
- Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
