Master Control Operator

SUMMARY

WDAY-TV, the ABC affiliate in Fargo, North Dakota, under the Forum Communications Company umbrella, is looking for a full-time Master Control Operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate state-of-the-art broadcast equipment including automated on-air playback system, satellite and IP receiving equipment, and server-based media storage systems.

• Gather and record programming, insert timing information to prep for for air, and switch live content on-air (live programming and sports and local cut-ins or crawls.)

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer proficiency

• Collaborative team player able to work with other departments

• Availability to work a variety of hours - potential evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
