Our company is recruiting for full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Lake Worth, FL as a Staff Nurse.

They will provide nursing services to primary substance use disorder and mental health populations in a treatment center. Nursing experience working with clients at detox and residential levels of care is strongly preferred. 

The Staff Nurse completes assigned nursing related services for each client. They are responsible for nursing assessments, providing routine nursing care, review of medication logs and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician. 

Essential Functions:

  • Completes assigned nursing related services for each client.
  • Responsible for nursing assessments.
  • Provides routine nursing care.
  • Reviews medication logs.
  • Assists in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.
  • Facilitates medication education.
  • Incorporates nursing and medical issues into client's treatment plan.
  • Completes nursing documentation in accordance with facility and State requirements.
  • Administers medications, as needed.

Schedules Available:

  • 12 hours shifts.
  • Night shift availability is strongly preferred.
  • License to practice nursing in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
  • Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferences:

  • Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health, preferred.
  • Nursing experience working with clients at detox and residential levels of care.

    • Nursing experience in acute care, detox, and /or mental health facilities
    • Strong assessment and organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal communication-establishes a therapeutic relationship with clients and their families, communicate with treatment team.
    • Active listening
    • Superb observation skill 
    • Detail-orientated
    • Empathetic and understanding of client's needs.
