What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Operations Specialist position at Fossil?
The Retail Operations Specialist will lead the North America supply program ensuring timely distribution of all office supplies, operating supplies and packaging. This role will continuously assess efficiency and operational opportunities. Additionally, they will work with appropriate field and cross-functional partners to refine/create chain-wide, scalable and consistent operational excellence.
Duties include:
- Maintaining multiple store ordering platforms and processing weekly store supply orders
- Reviewing on-hand inventory levels and assisting with forecasting/global buys
- Managing multiple preferred vendors anchored in high quality service and value
- Administering store watch battery program
- Assisting with global packaging buy process
- Facilitating ship from store packaging program
- Sourcing supplies and equipment to support operational initiatives
- Supporting the store development process including new store openings, remodels, relocations and permanent closures
- Influence and grow retail personalization strategy
- Partnering with Facilities team to support lighting supply needs
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies to drive innovation
- Collaborating with Field Leaders and corporate partners to evolve operational tools to optimize operations and strategic priorities
