FOUND Hotels is looking for a dynamic General Mangerto join our rapidly expanding team and oversee the re-opening of the Copley Square Hotel. Successful candidates will have a passion for travel and the hospitality industry and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Focused on maximizing hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement initiatives
- Participate in hotel Sales & Marketing efforts, acting as a FOUND ambassador locally, nationally, and globally
- Plan and execute weekly social events and property activations
- Oversee and assist with the FOUND Hotels budget process
- Develop and manage the capital improvement budget
- Maintain budgeted productivity levels in every department
- Management of the P&L to approved budget
- Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures
- Interview, hire, train, guide, and manage all team members in accordance with FOUND Hotels established standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 5 years’ experience in hospitality with at least 2 years in a management role
- Proven experience building and developing a strong team across all hotel departments
- Experience managing all departments of a hotel
- Exceptional Attention to Detail
- Financial Management and Hotel Accounting
- Ability to multitask
- Strong command of computers and Microsoft Office
- Comfort with hotel PMS, POS, CRM, and related hotel operational systems
- Preferred: Hotel Pre-Opening and Opening Experience
