The Part-time Receptionist position answers a multi-line telephone system and greets visitors in a timely, pleasant and professional manner. The Part-time Receptionist is responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience at the first point of contact and for directing customers and vendors to the appropriate dealership representative or resource.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually and inform supervisor immediately of any planned or unplanned absences.
- Greet visitors, determine their needs and contact the appropriate department for visitor escort.
- Operate a multi-line phone including answering all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transfer calls to the appropriate person or department quickly, or operating the dealership paging system, calls individuals to the phone.
- Minimize the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
- Take detailed messages when call cannot be completed; including caller’s name, telephone number, time of call, and information requested, and delivers to appropriate party in a timely manner.
- Contact customers when registration/plates are ready
- Issue temporary tags/agent tags
- Develop knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquires
- Notify appropriate personnel of any problems with phone system.
- Oversee the visitor sign-in and security process.
- Maintain conference room reservation schedule.
- Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
- Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Foundation Automotive brand.
- Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Receptionist experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
- Authorization to work in the USA
Schedule:
20 - 25 hrs a week, rotating afternoons and Saturdays
Weekday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
