Overview

Foundry is excited to be recruiting for a Group Sales Manager to put a mark on our worldwide business and join our newly formed London based International Growth Sales Team.  We are looking for exceptional sales talent, to create, train, motivate and lead this team, that will support our global sales workforce, deliver multimillion new business for the world’s largest media/ marketing tech company. We expect you to come into to the role with a vision and strategy to support and manage the team, enabling them to meet our sustainable, revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential and development. Designing and implementing, global, strategic sales plans that increase customer engagement and maximizes sales conversion, ensuring and growing Foundry’s strong presence in the global markets.

 

The ideal candidate shows strong leadership capacity, is confident and comfortable working with a diverse and inclusive sales team and liaises and bridges with global customer experience leadership.  Please note this role is based 5 days a week out of our London office in Euston.

Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for the quantity of daily, weekly, monthly outbound sales efforts and the quality of sales dialogue including effective use of sales skills to close business
  • Motivate, coach, train, evaluate, supervise and monitor our team of business development reps
  • Track sales targets and OKR/KPIs to lead the team and ensure the team consistently delivers on target or better performance
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met and the team work to the highest professional standards including data compliance
  • Instill by example and foster the Foundry’s company wide ethical commitments to an inclusive workplace environment
  • Build a high energy, high performance, focused and open culture across your team

Qualifications

  • The skills, experience, and attributes essential for the role:
  • Proven experience and demonstrable success leading a sales team in the tech market
  • Commercially mature, able to exercise business acumen and judgement to meet business imperatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to present both externally and internally
  • Driven, persistent and determined individual with a commitment to success
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and abilities
  • In depth knowledge and insight into sales (skills, knowledge and attitude/approach)
  • Have a well-developed sense of humor along with an empathetic but determined personality
