**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Leasing Agent to join our team. Must know quickbooks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, property maintenance, and legal administrative tasks. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with the leasing process and ensuring excellent customer service throughout their tenancy. Be willing to help maintain the cleanliness of the property and help if needed to prepare apartments for occupancy.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information on available units
- Process lease applications, conduct background checks, and verify references
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and security deposit refunds
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, vacancies, and leasing activity
- Collaborate with property management to ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in leasing or property management preferred
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to leasing contracts
- Ability to manage customer relationships effectively
- Proficiency in conflict management to resolve tenant issues promptly
