Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator/Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records and performing various accounting tasks.
Duties:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Assist the sales team in managing and organizing their daily activities
-Maintain customer databases and update customer information
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Reviews all upcoming room blocks and ensures the distribution of upcoming room block sheets to appropriate department heads on a weekly basis.
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, contracts, and other sales documents
-Coordinate and schedule sales appointments and meetings
-Assist in business development activities such as lead generation and prospecting
Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Suite for document management
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
- Proven experience in sales coordination or a similar role
-Strong knowledge of business development and outside sales processes
-Ability to transcribe financial data with precision
- Familiarity with office management procedures
- Basic knowledge of order entry systems
- Excellent customer service skills for internal and external interactions
- Competency in using phone systems for professional communication
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in event planning for company functions
- Ability to computerize data efficiently
- Administrative skills to support the office operations
