What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Supervisor position at Four Seasons?
The Spa Supervisor oversee all aspects of the operations of the Spa, Salon and Boutique. Their duties include managing staff performance, overseeing facility maintenance, hiring, training and scheduling employees.
Oversee the guest experience of the Spa Front Desk and overall areas by working closely with the line staff to ensure good morale and satisfied customers. Motivate, praise, offer guidance, use effective and constant communication with Spa team members. Support and maintain goals of Spa management. Lead spa team to create wonderful experiences for spa guests.
Essential Functions
- Report to work as scheduled, swiping in and out at specific times at beginning, lunch, and end of shift
- Is able to follow proper procedure for missed punches and possible overtime accrual
- See that therapists, staff and guests are checked in according to schedule
- Quality Control of Spa Arrival/Departure/Tours/Guest Experience
- Ensuring Four Seasons standards are trained and upheld
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures
- See that groups and VIP’s are being managed – billing, introductions, tours
- Complete glitch reports, provide appropriate recovery follow up
- Monitor OT and meal breaks
- Manage POS
- Closing & opening spa as assigned
- Spa Daily Recap
- Delegate projects for staff
- Spa Promotions communication/follow up
- Oversee training program and GSA/Attendant Learning Coaches
- Know mechanical procedures
- Check for cleanliness/ safety hazards
- Maintain weekly inventory of guest amenities
- Ensure ongoing entry and collection of Guest Consent forms
- Follow up with GSA staff regarding booking errors/glitches
