About the team:
The Deal Desk function within the Revenue Operations group will provide strategic, cross-functional and comprehensive assistance to sales contracting and financial compliance, process improvements, and building scalable solutions that help our sales team and leadership make informed decisions, with a focus on streamlining global efforts across the business.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Help pioneer the Deal Desk function at Foursquare
- Create customized contractual offerings for use at scale for Foursquare upmarket customers
- Earn trusted advisor status to the sales team, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for non-standard transactions
- Act as a liaison for sellers between multiple groups (ie: rev ops, finance, product, sales leadership, legal) to help facilitate deal closures
- Implement existing deal and approval processes that supports a high velocity sales motion
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business
- Provide insight, feedback and make recommendations on strategic company and team initiatives
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a deal desk, order management, sales operations, or finance role
- Strong attention to detail
- High proficiency in MS Office or GSuite, Salesforce.com (CPQ a plus)
- Experience working in a SaaS or high-tech company is also a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration/Legal or related competency
