Coordinates with key team members and process owners to improve, create and implement tools/processes used throughout a start to finish product development cycle. Brings a focused effort to address real root causes and opportunities, providing solutions with wide ranging sustained benefit.
Position Responsibilities
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
Experience
5 years of related experience within a product development, manufacturing or related industry
Record of driving improvements and solving problems
1 years leading process or system improvement projects preferred
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
Office Environment
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

Position Summary

Position Responsibilities
- Supports projects spanning multiple aspects of FOX, focusing on continuous improvement processes, efficiency gains, and problem-solving methods utilizing lean and Six Sigma principles, tools, concepts, and methodologies.
- Creates, keeps up to date, and sustains continuous improvement processes, metrics, and tools that support the product engineering group and key team deliverables.
- Assists in identification, prioritization, and selection of potential projects to optimize existing processes and tools.
- Works across teams to define problems, analyze information, and develop then implement improvement solutions.
- Outlines and educates about continuous improvement activity that will achieve future targets, working with the organization's leadership team.
- Develops and supports training programs and coaches colleagues in the use of tools, processes and concepts that support achieving product engineering goals.
- Facilitates the spread of continuous improvement culture and drives measurable process improvement.
- Identifies barriers to project or team success and solicits help from leadership when needed.
- Interacts with colleagues and projects leaders to ensure that projects are on track and targets are met.
- Experience using Lean and Six Sigma practices
- Experience using statistical analysis tools
- Ability to perform and drive changes within a cross functional team
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good project management skills
- Ability to learn and use complex software tools
