Recruiter (6-month contract)
About the Role
We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team for a 6-month contract initially, with the possibility of extension or a full-time opportunity. This role will partner with our key business leaders to help recruit for various teams across North America. As a Recruiter, you will work closely with Hiring Managers and manage day-to-day recruiting activities, such as preparing job descriptions, actively sourcing, screening resumes, selecting candidates for interviews, and conducting pre-screen interviews.
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina based (hybrid work environment, 1-2 days in-office, 3-4 days remote)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Recruiter, you will:
- Participate in intake meetings to understand the job requirements, prepare an initial draft of job descriptions based on the meeting and market standards for similar roles
- Build and maintain candidate pools through the job posting, sourcing, networking, referral, and any other suitable channel to attract quality talent
- Develop and execute appropriate sourcing strategies based on the requirements of the role
- Conduct pre-screen calls and schedule interviews with the hiring managers and the leadership team
- Review candidates and update the ATS regularly at various stages in the process
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and update candidates promptly on the recruiting process
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
- 2 Years of proven experience in agency and/or in-house recruiting experience with the ability to fill multiple roles in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in recruiting for InsurTech, Sales, and Tech roles across North America
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies to actively and passively recruit candidates including the use of social media, search engines, job boards and especially, LinkedIn
- Extensive computer skills, and knowledge of Google suites or Microsoft Office

- Ability to maintain a positive attitude, express enthusiasm, and be flexible
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize timeline for multiple roles
