Job Description
Dispatchers will be required to complete Power Phone (or equivalent) dispatcher training; and maintain CPR, first aid and LEAPS / DCJIS / NCIC certifications.
Dispatchers operate computer aided dispatch systems and emergency notification programs.
Dispatchers are designated as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act

This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefits-eligible position in the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) bargaining unit with a title of Communication Dispatcher I.
The bi-weekly pay rate is $1,806.02 (grade 11, step 5). This position may be assigned to one of the following shifts :
7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm, Saturday / Sunday OFF
3 : 00 pm to 11 : 00 pm Saturday / Sunday OFF
11 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am Friday / Saturday OFF
