The Role You'll Play to Create Success
We are excited to announce a full-time 401K Specialist position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by communicating and administering the design and implementation of 401(k) plans, Roth IRAs, and other related programs.
- Communicates with existing and prospective customers to promote the FrankCrum 401(k) retirement program.
- Acts as primary contact for 401k Plan audits, plan transfers, ADP/ACP/Top Heavy testing, Form 5500 filing, and Investment Committee meetings.
- Works with the client and provider to design, adopt, and implement a 401(k) retirement savings plan in accordance with FrankCrum Retirement Plan and IRS regulations.
- Provides administration, ensures proper documentation has been executed, and monitors clients’ retirement plan activities on a daily basis through auditing.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of retirement plan 401(k) regulations and applies that knowledge to ensure compliance and make recommendations.
- Prepares, submits, and maintains employee benefit records and documents.
- Provides guidance and determines eligibility for benefits such as participation, matching contribution, hardships, loans, and distributions.
- Ensures customers understand options and identifies multi-product needs to connect customers to other product specialists.
- Prepares communication and materials for optimal enrollment presentations, and makes presentations by phone, via webinar, and in person.
- Responds to correspondence, email, and phone calls from clients, employees and vendors.
- Educates prospects, clients and employees on the 401K options available. Proactively monitors and provides quarterly and/or annual updates to clients about their participation, plan performance, and savings compared to national averages.
The Attributes We Seek
Keys to success in this position include knowledge of Federal and state laws regarding employee benefits and insurance such as the PPA, OWBPA, ACA, Section 125, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA. Associate’s degree in finance, business, or related field and previous experience with 401(k) administration preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
