- Successful candidate will be building new Security and Law Enforcement Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. First year will be a class of 11th grade students. The following years will be 11th and 12th grade students. The instructor will provide opportunities for students to have exposure to a variety of law enforcement and military opportunities. The instructor will teach students law enforcement fundamentals and security operations. Students will assist with security on campus and be provided work-based learning opportunities in the field..
- Assess, plan and provide instruction for students so that they may acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for successful employment or further training.
- Provide instruction so that students may acquire the necessary academic and hands-on skills necessary to meet New York State education outcomes and standards
- Prepare students to meet local business and industry standards
- Perform other duties assigned by the program administrator
- Applicants must possess or be eligible for a NYS Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification. Must be a current or former law enforcement professional. High school diploma required. NYSED fingerprint clearance required.
