What is the Senior Sales Trainer responsible for?
The Senior Sales Trainer will play a critical role in helping our sales team reach their full potential by creating, maintaining, and delivering industry leading training for Franklin Templeton sales teams that follows our Well-Rounded Consultant model. What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Sales Trainer?
- Develop and implement sales training programs and strategies for sales teams.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for sales teams to improve their product knowledge, selling skills, and overall effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product specialists and subject matter experts to design and deliver effective training materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Create and maintain a library of training resources, including manuals, videos, and other instructional materials.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve results.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales teams to ensure they are meeting their targets and objectives.
- Work closely with sales managers and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training programs to meet those needs.
- Act in registered principal capacity to review and approve training content in conjunction with compliance guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in asset management sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales training and development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to design and deliver effective training programs and materials.
- Familiarity with asset management products, services, and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to deliver training programs and support sales teams (15-20%).
- Series 7, 63 FINRA Licenses required. Series 24 FINRA license required (or willing to obtain shortly after hire).
- CIMA, CFP or CFA a plus
