At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you’ll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Position Overview:
As a Professional Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on relevant cyber threats that have the potential to impact the Freddie Mac enterprise. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitor various sources for relevant cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Produce and disseminate timely, relevant intelligence products on a variety of topics including threat actors, vulnerabilities, industry developments, and more
- Conduct research on remerging threats to maintain current knowledge on industry trends and developments
- Respond to requests for ad-hoc reporting and research topics from management, as requested
- Aid in the production of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly intelligence reports
- Provide independent critical thinking to diagnose and analyze threat intelligence data and making decisions on response and mitigation
- Collaborate with members of various cybersecurity teams

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree with two years relevant analytic experience OR four years of relevant analytic experience (e.g., CTI, military intelligence, etc.)
- Basic understanding of the current threat landscape including trends, threats, vulnerabilities, and geopolitical events impacting the cyber domain
- Familiarity with common threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate cyber topics to audiences of varying levels of expertise
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and solid attention to detail
Keys to Success in this Role:
As a cyber threat intelligence analyst, technical experience is not required; however, there are some qualities a candidate is expected to possess to succeed in this role:
- Has a passion for developing cybersecurity expertise,
- Demonstrates a drive to learn,
- Comfortable working autonomously with limited supervision,
- Has good interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration across various teams
