Bakery Clerk/Customer Service

We are looking for a retail customer service representative/store front clerk to join our bakery. Starting at 25-30 hours but hours may be added with right person.

This position will work with customers in person, on the phone and on email to fulfill customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills is required. We are looking for someone friendly, hard-working, reliable and honest. Must have customer service experience. This person will be working at the storefront and handling many of our computer and administrative duties; must be a quick learner, work well with others and a multi-tasker. Our bakery is constantly working on ways to improve the shopping experience for our customers so this person must be willing to be a team player, have a good attitude and willing to learn and grow with our bakery.

Daily tasks and expectations include but not limited to:

- Helping customers with custom cake and cookie orders with good knowledge of bakery offerings. Must be a quick learner to understand our menu and process. Must be comfortable with talking on the phone and quick to respond with customer questions.

- Experience in working on the computers; to process orders from online orders to replying to customers' emails. Must be professional, use proper English and know basic typing. Basic photoshop skill is a plus but not required.

- Work on the register for orders and online payments. Basic math required.

- Package cookies and gift items in orderly and timely matter. Must be organized and detail oriented.

- Minor production and cleaning duties. Must be able to stand during the shift, cut fruits, sweep, wipe, able to carry up to 30lbs and other minor tasks the Kitchen Production team needs help with.

- Weekends shifts are required.
