The Regional Manager position at Scooter’s Coffee is an opportunity for an upper level management position in a successful and growing company. This position contributes to our efforts at Freedom Enterprises and Scooter’s Coffee by providing support, on-site training, motivation, encouragement, and accountability to the operations and brand integrity of Scooter’s Coffee at the store level. This position will involve active, regularly scheduled visits in stores with managers within your assigned region to ensure that the brand story is “living” at the store level. The purpose is to standardize operational excellence at the store level and across the company by ensuring the execution of standardized operating systems.

Assess stores to determine if any of the three Amazing’s are missing. In addition, coach district managers on how to formulate a plan to fix any areas of the Amazing’s that are not up to company and brand standards.

- Educate team members to positively reflect the brand by assessing the appearance of each store and how it affects the strength of the Scooter’s brand. Enforce adherence to brand standards at all times.

- Radiate positivity in goals and future endeavors of our company and brand and transfer that passion to others.
Business Knowledge:
- Effectively hire quality staff at all levels (baristas, MITs, Training Specialists, Store Managers, District Managers) and be able to instill in teams why this matters. Recognize when an employee is not an ‘A’ player and ensure, if necessary, that the correction is quickly and decisively made.
- Manage and adhere to individual store budgets and financials, including P&L statements, an individual stores break-even/profitability mark, cost of goods, and labor budgets while teaching managers these skills as well.
- Understand the operation flow of each style of store in our system. (single sided kiosks, double sided kiosks, sit-down with drive-thru, and non-traditional hospital locations)
- Analyze store environments and key performance indicators to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
- Coach district managers and develop an action plan with operational excellence being the goal.
- Be a subject matter expert and trainer on Microsoft Office and Google Workspace programs.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to our Scooter’s franchise agreement, including the requirements and limitations.
Mentoring Skills:
- Mentor and train a manager in all levels of managerial responsibilities.
- Mentor your district managers in continuing their leadership & management education, at the multi-store leadership level.
- Teach managers the systems and procedures of Freedom Enterprises and Scooter’s Coffee. This includes, but is not limited to: all manuals, leadership classes, systems & processes (current & future).
Travel Requirements:
- Traveling will be required, duration of travel may vary
- A valid driver's license is required
- 40 hours per week will be required to successfully fulfill the job requirements. This amount will vary based upon individual circumstances.
- Continuing Education will be ongoing (personal and team)
Qualifications:
- 3 years of management and leadership experience.
- Multi-unit operations experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High Level of understanding business and economics
- Multitasking & problem solving abilities
- Scheduling and inventory management experience
- Knowledge of health department standards
- Ability to mentor and develop staff
- Ability to travel
