Job Title: Project Manager
Reports to: VP of Production
Summary: The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of assigned plumbing and/or mechanical projects. Manage plumbing and mechanical construction projects through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review job estimates and assist in preparing project budgets.
- Communicate with the estimating department to ensure proper change order pricing
- Prepare/ review submittals
- Track, forecast, and report labor hours and material costs
- Buyout major equipment and subcontracts
- Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials
- Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope, and specifications of all assigned project contracts/subcontracts
- Maintain and control documents in compliance with company standards as well as contractual compliance
- Supervise assigned Project Assistant including quarterly and annual coaching.
- Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize, and schedule project work including preparation of subcontract/contract integrated project schedule
- Review contract drawings, detail drawings, and specifications
- When required, prepare fabrication shop work package including detail drawing review, material take off and buyout, and man-hour fabrication budget
- Ensure full compliance with the company safety program at all assigned jobsites
- Provide proactive, clear, and timely communication to team members
- Be professional and uphold company standards for professionalism

Job Conditions: Hours will often exceed 40 hours per week to effectively perform this position. Leadership and oversight responsibilities require inconsistent daily work start times and work weeks. The physical and mental obligations are, at times, highly demanding. Reasonable accommodations shall be made to enable individuals to maximize their work/life balance. Work on construction sites will typically have more challenging access and terrain and this must be taken into consideration.
POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time position, onsite, and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm
COMPENSATION: Compensation is negotiable.
