SECRETARY - High School - Mon-Fri - 7.0 hrs / day - 200 Days
SUMMARY :
A Secretary , under the supervision of the Principal, is responsible for performing secretarial duties in daily operations of the school office.
This position may include, but not be limited to, the following performance responsibilities, qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Exhibits a professional attitude at all times and a willingness to work with others in a positive, cooperative and pleasant manner.
Promotes customer service. Communicate in a pleasant, courteous, effective, and intentional manner. Adhere to Freeman School District Expectations for Employment.
Greets and assists students and parents, answers phones / doors, acts as principal’s / department representative, in a positive, professional manner, when meeting parents and / or general public.
Maintains absolute confidentiality.
Participate in retention and disposition of records according to the Washington State Retention Schedule.
Prepare and distribute mail.
