As a key member of our Sales and Marketing team, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing, working closely with various departments to support strategic business expansion. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Qualifying and vetting prospective accounts and clients.
- Closing agreements with accounts that align with our company's vision for growth.
- Collaborating with the Operations team to identify and align on account-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assisting the Finance/Accounting Department in collecting outstanding invoices.
- Collaborating with overseas offices and agents to develop trade lane-specific business.
- Acting as the primary point of contact, ensuring a healthy and productive relationship between the company and clients.
- Providing exemplary customer service to expand business opportunities and identify sales prospects within existing accounts.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and address any challenges that may arise.
- A proactive and sales-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to create a positive impression during face-to-face meetings.
- Effective communication skills to address client needs assertively and articulately.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
