We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our amazing team as an Accountant. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks to ensure the seamless operation of our financial processes.
Salary will vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile balance sheet general ledger (GL) accounts.
Payroll processing and related tasks
Journal entries
Process vendor bills, payments, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain and keep track of credit card and bank transactions for bank and credit card reconciliation purposes.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience working in an accounting role or similar position.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Netsuite.
Experience with bank-to-accounting and credit card-to-accounting integration and/or data uploads.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
