What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at French Lick Resort?
BASIC FUNCTIONS: The Laborer will be responsible for job site clean-up, material moving, and other various projects the Carpenter Supervisor, Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, Maintenance Projects Specialist, Maintenance Electrician Supervisor, or Maintenance HVAC-R Mechanic Supervisor might assign. They may also be asked to perform General Maintenance duties as well (please refer to the General Maintenance job description for more information).
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Must have 1 year of construction experience.
Must have the ability to provide legible communication.
Must be able to use various tools of the trade.
Must possess and be able to use basic math skills.
Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
