Engineering Project Manager
The Junior Project Manager position is a full-time, M-F, FLSA exempt salaried position. Note: this is a project management position, not an engineering position. Engineering experience is a plus, but not a direct requirement for this position.
DUTIES
- Review customer RFQ’s, develop and submit bid proposals.
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects with independent critical milestone activities.
- Manage project spending budgets and schedules.
- Provide project support to procurement and production teams as needed.
- Accountable for project performance and profitability with adherence to ISO9001:2015 quality controls and documentation requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Engineering or related technical discipline). Equivalent experience will be considered instead of a degree.
- 5 years of relevant Project Management experience in manufacturing environment.
- Analytical skills with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Able to work independently without direct daily supervision.
- Disciplined, objective and detail oriented.
- Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Project, Word, etc.) CAD software a plus.
- Interacting with engineering and design for continuous improvement
- Supporting/leading the process for the resourcing of projects
- Collaboration between customer, engineering and operations
- Communications within and to the engineering team
- Problem solving while promoting efficiency and teamwork.
- Experience in leading, supporting, and mentoring others
- Knowledge of the functions and operations of engineering services
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in organizational effectiveness
- Ability to effectively communicate and handle conflicts
- A demonstrated commitment to professional ethical standards

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
