Engineering Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager position is a full-time, M-F, FLSA exempt salaried position. Note: this is a project management position, not an engineering position. Engineering experience is a plus, but not a direct requirement for this position.

DUTIES

• Review customer RFQ’s, develop and submit bid proposals.
• Manage multiple, concurrent projects with independent critical milestone activities.
• Manage project spending budgets and schedules.
• Provide project support to procurement and production teams as needed.
• Accountable for project performance and profitability with adherence to ISO9001:2015 quality controls and documentation requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Engineering or related technical discipline). Equivalent experience will be considered instead of a degree.
• 5 years of relevant Project Management experience in manufacturing environment.
• Analytical skills with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Able to work independently without direct daily supervision.
• Disciplined, objective and detail oriented.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Project, Word, etc.) CAD software a plus.
• Interacting with engineering and design for continuous improvement
• Supporting/leading the process for the resourcing of projects
• Collaboration between customer, engineering and operations
• Communications within and to the engineering team
• Problem solving while promoting efficiency and teamwork.
• Experience in leading, supporting, and mentoring others
• Knowledge of the functions and operations of engineering services
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience in organizational effectiveness
• Ability to effectively communicate and handle conflicts
• A demonstrated commitment to professional ethical standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
