We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team and help open our second location in Southwest Florida! The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our guests.
Duties:
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies
- Create and update menus to meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Train and develop kitchen staff in culinary skills and best practices
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in inventory control and cost management
- Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities
