Fresh Chef is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as Assistant Chef.

The Assistant Chef will assist the Executive Chef in all areas of operations. The ideal

candidate will have prior experience in the food service industry and be able to

demonstrate a commitment to quality and service.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation of food items including, presentation, and

presentation standards for each menu item.

* Ensure that proper sanitation standards are always met during food

preparation.

* Always maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow health, safety,

and sanitation guidelines always.

* Maintain a clean kitchen environment by keeping the kitchen area neat,

clean, and sanitary at all times.

* Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming,

dusting, etc. as required.

* Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements when required to

accompany clients to different locations, such as vacation homes, yachts, or

other residences. Ensure that all necessary equipment and ingredients are

packed and transported safely.

**** You must have a Valid Driver’s License and you must have reliable transportation.

* On-Site Cooking: Set up mobile kitchen facilities in various locations,

ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.

Execute meal preparation and cooking activities with precision and attention

to detail.

* Catering to Dietary Preferences: Accommodate dietary restrictions,

allergies, and special requests with creativity and flexibility. Offer alternative

menu options and substitutions as needed to meet the unique preferences

of each client.

* Event Catering: Provide catering services for special events, gatherings,

and celebrations hosted at clients; residences or other locations. Coordinate

with event planners and staff to ensure seamless execution of culinary

services.

* Kitchen Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

area, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.

Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and

safety of clients and staff.

* Client Communication: Establish open and clear communication channels

with clients to understand their culinary preferences, feedback, and

expectations. Provide attentive and responsive service to address any

concerns or inquiries promptly.

Qualifications:

·Minimum of 2-5 year’s experience in a high-volume kitchen environment as an

assistant chef or prep cook preferred.

·Must be able to follow recipes and prep schedules precisely. Must be able to

follow precise cooking instructions and techniques. Must have prior experience in

food prep or restaurant management preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-

paced environment with multiple shifts per week. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand

for long periods, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy items including carts, carts, etc.,

as well as frequent use of hand tools such as knives and utensils.
