Responsibilities
Understand, abide by and promote the FNST safety policies and practices at all times.
Understand and support the FNST Growtth and Lean Process for continual improvement including leadership and facilitation of activities.
Understand and support the FNST Quality Policy and associated guidelines, processes and requirements as necessary to ensure continual company value, customer satisfaction and market status.
Understand and support the FNST Environmental Policy and assure compliance.
Analyzing trends for raw materials and rubber compounds
Establishing and setting up test limits
Reviewing and completing NCMRs on raw materials and rubber batches.
Understands and run/set up all lab equipment and associated software.
Interface with all production areas, particularly Components to provide technical support.
Assist Materials Development manager with trialing new raw materials/raw material changes/compounds, lab mixing and testing, create/manages rubber formulations and recipes with direction form manager.
Acts as back up for Materials Development Manager as needed.
Qualifications
B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering
Laboratory and process engineering related experience preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
Ability to handle company sensitive information in an ethical and confidential manner, in compliance with corporate policy.
Team player.
Self-motivated.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Computer literacy required.
Must be well-organized and work with minimum supervision.
Routine domestic and some international travel.
