Overview:
The Store Manager is ultimately responsible for all store activities including accountability of inventory and cash, up to and including personal repayment of shortages. The Store Manager ensures that all employees are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job descriptions.

 Is responsible for hiring and training staff- up to and including terminating staff with DM’s approval.

 Is of high integrity; treats customers & employees with honesty, respect, dignity.

 Understands and leads by example with openness and direct communication.

 Is completely focused on and driven by the customer.

 Makes a continuous effort to maintain an enjoyable working experience.

 Has a positive attitude and is performance oriented and strives to do their overall best.

Requirements:
Requirements:
 3 years Management Experience.

 High School diploma or equivalent. Bi-lingual skills a plus.

 Must be able to recognize and count U.S. currency

 Good verbal and written communication skills needed with customers and co-workers

 Have a basic reading and math knowledge as relates to financial service center work.

Accessibility:
 Must agree this position is their first and foremost job and that the business interest of MSV / Friendly Check must be served first. Monday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s along with 2st and 3rd of each month are important business days and the Store Manager needs to arrange his or her schedule to work these days unless an occasional prior approval has been received from DM.

 Must have a telephone or other reliable method of communication with all employees.

 Must reside no more than 30 miles and/or (30 minutes) from store location.

 Must be readily available to the assigned location at all times.

 Must have reliable and available transportation during business hours.

Essential Functions:
 Ensure that store is open on time and ready to sell all products for that business day.

 Ensure that store and all equipment are clean at all times and that security checks are performed.

 Ensure compliance with state banking commissioners’ regulations, federal and state laws; safety and security policies and procedures.

 Enforce necessary disciplinary action of employees in an appropriate manner.

 Follows all policies and procedures to ensure the staff is taught and lead according to company policies and procedures. Will not circumvent the system nor allow employees to do so. Lead by example to include limited on-site visitors, excessive breaks and cell phone use.

CONTROL PROFITABILITY OF STORE:
 Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly paperwork timely and is analyzed and correct.

 Ensure cash procedures are monitored (Customer Profiles, RIs, Tile 31’s and SARs etc.)

 All overages/shortages are properly researched and documented.

 Schedules and enters two weeks’ of employees and management staff in the PC scheduler.

 Evaluate all designated controllable account against budget and see that financial targets are achieved.

 Maintain total budget guidelines.

 Communicate by email or ticket system to the DM of any equipment malfunctions.

RECRUIT AND TRAINING OF EMPLOYEES

 See that sufficient staffing level for store volume is established and maintained.

 Ensure new hired employees are certified within 30 days in all areas in which one MUST be Proficiency.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

 Communicate and document to all employees about policies and procedures and company standards.
