Friendly Faces Senior Care has an amazing opportunity for a 2nd Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler position in our Pearland office. We pride ourselves on offering a rewarding work environment with a variety of benefits and competitive compensation.
Location: Pearland, TX office
Hours: 9am-6pm M-F; on-call responsibilities 2-3 nights a week and alternating weekends (2 weekends a month) and alternating holidays
Summary of Position:
The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler reports to the Administrator. The primary responsibilities is to assist the primary scheduler with coordinating with caregivers on their availability for work, to select and schedule them appropriately and problem solve issues as they arrive. The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler will provide administrative training, support and back up care. In addition, the Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler will be responsible for the following:
- Answers incoming telephone calls in a friendly, professional and sales-oriented way (for prospect clients).
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers general questions about Friendly Faces Senior Care and triage questions and issues as appropriate and refer to the appropriate staff as needed.
- Support the administrative team to organize caregiver and client issues (i.e. questions, changes in schedule/availability, concerns and following company policies.
- Know the level of care required for each client.
- Accurately staff clients with caregivers based on location, time, skills/needs, requests, etc.
- Match caregivers to clients based on personality, skill, client’s scheduling needs and caregivers’ availability.
- Develop and train caregivers and team lead on appropriate competency levels for clients.
- Accurately and effectively communicate with office manager, caregivers, clients, administrative staff, sales and executive staff.
- Be able to take on leadership roles in special projects and assignments.
- Perform in-home assessments, supervisory and quality assurance visits as requested.
- Utilize Clearcare/Wellsky, our web-based care management system to monitor caregivers for on-time arrival, monitor care logs and update client and caregiver records as directed.
- Complete incident reporting as directed and necessary.
- On-call responsibilities alternating with assigned office personnel to including 2-3 nights a week and alternating weekends (2 weekends a month) and alternating holidays
- Back-up in person direct client care as needed during the week and on weekends
- Performs clerical and administrative duties as needed including support on recruiting, interviewing, filing and auditing when needed.

- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office and Scheduling software. Knowledge of the Clearcare/Wellsky home care software a plus.
- Must past background, drug test and reference checks.
- Direct caregiving experience is a plus.
- Must be willing to be on-call and carry a phone alternating with teammates.
Job Requirements:
- Home Health or private duty experience preferred but not mandatory
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or one year of experience in a healthcare setting a plus
- Must have Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, and Reliable Vehicle (and/or be able to drive company car)
- Must be able to pass Drug and Background Screening
- Copy of updated TB/Chest X-Ray
- Dependable Transportation
- High- speed internet connection
