Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shift management, food production, and leadership within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Ensure high-quality food production and presentation standards are consistently met
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service
- Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development and execution
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to staff
Experience:
- Proven experience in a General Manager or Assistant Manager role within the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of POS systems and proficiency in restaurant management software
- Experience in banquet or event management is a plus
- Culinary background or understanding is beneficial for menu planning and execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
