Salary Range $31.50-$36.23 Plus shift differential

Responsibilities include: Registered Nurses provide care to the residents in skilled nursing to help meet their daily needs. This includes medical, physical, and emotional needs that enable them to function at the highest possible level. Professional nurses lead the team that are the residents’ closest advocates in their homes. The RN provides clinical care and promotes the residents' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building, participating in care planning, helping plan and facilitate social activities along with simple daily pleasures, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and ensuring proper documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications
- Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
- Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas
- Clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions

Required:
- Completion of the Registered Nurse License program is required
- Desire to serve senior adults
- Positive outlook
