Recruiter Job Description
Recruiter is responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. Responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving requests from various departments for new job availability
- Creating job postings and putting them up online
- Advertising job availability through online channels and other media
- Browsing social networking sites like LinkedIn for suitable job profiles with required skills
- Attending job fairs and other events and searching for talent
- Communicating by phone, email, and in person with job candidates to figure out things like availability and hiring timelines
- Interviewing potential job candidates
- Performing other assessments of job candidates' skills, such as by giving a written test or hiring for a trial period, etc.
- Travelling to various locations near and far to find the best possible candidate
- Reading resumes/CVs, job applications, and cover letters and creating a mental picture of the applicant
- Judging applicants based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics
- Reaching out to a number of applicants large enough to guarantee a more than satisfactory hire after interviewing
- Recruiting candidates that mesh with the existing company culture
- Recruiting candidates within a preset timeframe for continued business productivity
- Recruiting apprentices and trainees that have the potential to grow into skilled workers
- Networking with industry professionals and employment agencies who may know suitable candidates
- Scheduling, tracking and collecting Fingerprinting and Donor Pass Documentations
- Gathering and filing all paperwork related to new hires (i.e., CARI Check, OIG, Central Registry, and Physical/PPD)
- Entering and updating all results into Bamboo HR
- Review all documents to ensure all documents are current and meet company guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance are adhered to
- Responsible for collecting I-9 Information to ensure compliance
- Gathering, reviewing, and collecting payroll documentations (Federal and State W2’s) upon hire
- Emailing new hires with details about the status of their applications.
- Welcoming new hires with prepared onboarding kits.
- Detailing all new hires' initial tasks and answering any queries.
- Preparing an offer letter and sending it to the appropriate candidate.
- Preparing hire communication with the appropriate Manager.
- Collecting paperwork and other related documents from the new hire.
- Preparing onboarding email templates for the employees.
- Staying up to date with innovative and creative ways of onboarding new employees.
- Entering and other related documents from the new hire as needed.
- Accept all other responsibilities as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
