Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.

Shift: 1

Schedule: Employee will work shifts between the hours of 0630-1730, Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

Under minimal supervision, the clinical dietitian is responsible for the development of nutrition care plans by assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, discontinuing and documenting care. The clinical dietitian is able to write orders for nutrition interventions independently. The clinical dietitian works closely with the healthcare team and supports the inpatient and outpatient areas across the system as delineated. The clinical dietitian provides direction to students, interns, and dietetic technicians as well as education to the community. The clinical dietitian participates in medical team and department activities. Other duties as assigned. (u-s)

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum two years' experience with direct patient care is preferred.
  • This position will work to support our Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation programs at both Froedtert Menomonee Falls and Froedtert West Bend Hospitals.
  • This role will primarily provide Cooking School demonstrations, but will also include presentations of other nutritional workshop education, as well as 1:1 nutrition coaching for our cardiac rehab patient population.
  • This staff member may also help to provide RD support at our FMLH and Moorland Reserve locations when needed.


EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics or a Bachelor's degree plus a certification in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
  • Completion of an ACEND approved internship or coordinated undergraduate program is required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

  • Current Registered Dietitian is required or must be registry eligible.
  • Current Registered Dietitian must also be a State of Wisconsin Certified Dietitian within three months of the date of hire or transfer.
  • If registry eligible, must become a Registered Dietitian within six months of the date of hire or transfer and become a State of Wisconsin Certified Dietitian within three months after obtaining registration.
