Summary:
This position coordinates, supports and helps execute strategic marketing plans, initiatives and general activities to increase strategic sales and support internal culture building activities.
Support the Achievement of Strategic Goals:
- Contributes to the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to achieve Sales and Category team objectives.
- Work with Marketing, Category & Sales teams to coordinate and execute external events. Event support includes: logistics, vendor coordination, site planning, food & beverage.
- Work with Human Resources to coordinate HR-led internal events.
- Ensure the Sales Toolbox (digital asset site) is up-to-date with the latest materials and update as needed. Work directly with vendors to assess current point of sale material and update as needed.
- Lead the sourcing, development, production and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support category and sales programs.
- Create and maintain a merchandise inventory process with the Sales Reps, fulfill their requests and order new items as needed.
- At the direction of the Brand Marketing Manager, participate in the supervision of third-party graphic designers, videographers and photographers, assuring cost effective, high quality solutions. Some graphic design projects may be required, in support of Category and Sales strategies.
- Build out and manage list of preferred third-party printers, utilize scale of projects to maximize cost efficiencies.
- Establishes and ensures consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, websites and events, according to the Van Eerden Brand Guidelines.
- Complete administrative tasks as required. These include, but are not limited to: invoicing, reporting, proofreading, editing, copyrighting and more.

Qualifications:
- Willingness to work in the Van Eerden office during business hours, with occasional off-site work as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or equivalent work/industry/internship experience required.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or comparable work experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools required.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, with a focus on project management.
- A motivated self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be very detail and process oriented.
- Ability to resolve conflict and quickly adapt to different communication styles.
- Ability to identify issues and roadblocks in cross-functional areas and present proposed solutions.
- Occasional travel required including minimal overnight stays.
