Frontgrade is looking for an Intermediate/Senior level Program Manager to support customer programs in the Circuit Card Assembly/ Electronic Manufacturing Services business area. The Program Manager is responsible for planning and managing all phases of programs/projects from inception through completion.
Responsibilities
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESRole leads program review sessions with customers in coordination with internal team members to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Responsibilities include management, monitoring and reporting on programs’ performance against plans to ensure objectives are met; recommends and arranges modifications as required. Role also manages the coordination of interdepartmental requirements and related activities for existing programs interfacing with vendors, customers and internal personnel including management regarding program performance, status and actions. Successful candidate will need to possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure program success.
- Deliver program to schedule, cost, quality and performance parameters by organizing, coordinating and directing all activities for moderate/high complexity programs in conjunction with all required functional organizations. Define the strategy and objectives to successfully deliver the program, considering the company’s strategic objectives, while complying with customer and contractual requirements.
- Manage project scope, and ensure that changes are documented and approved.
- Develop and implement a proactive risk management plan for assigned programs. This process includes identifying resource gaps and mitigation planning / review of program risks both during the program planning phase and regularly during program execution, integrating the reporting of the program activities and operating program governance.
- Assures Integrated Project Team (IPT) resource identification and must be able to operate effectively within this environment, carrying out the program activities through the efforts of a matrixed team. Directly motivate and provide leadership for the broader program team. Ensure effective and open communication throughout the program team and with all internal and external stakeholders, leading planning efforts and resolving conflicts across projects.
- Measure and improve program performance through the investigation of processes, tools, staff training, facilities and team dynamics. Identify and recommend alternatives that could improve the performance of these factors, or overall program performance.
- Report program performance in Earned Value Management (EVM) framework. Create and maintain Baseline Schedules, Budgets, Risk and Opportunity Registers, Change Logs, ETC/EACs, manages scope, costs, and on-time delivery of portfolio

- Responsible for conducting regular reviews of all program task estimates, challenging the team to develop and implement the most efficient methods for achieving the requirements and eliminating wasteful approaches.
- Outward focus, establishing an objective roadmap for creating new business opportunities from the present program. This is enhanced by actively managing customer satisfaction thereby, assuring a high rate of repeated business. Also, trains program personnel to be alert to new opportunities and equips them with skills to remain competitive.
Qualifications
HOW TO SUCCEEDYou combine a solid background in engineering with the people skills to facilitate meetings and interact with customers. To join us you’ll need: Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience managing medium to complex programs, with strong working knowledge of program management standards, methodologies and operating procedures.
- 2 years of Program Management experience directing all phases of programs/projects from inception through completion as well as experience in participating in negotiations of contract and contract changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management or a related field
- 4 to 7 years of experience in project management within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- 1 year of experience writing proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications.
- Experience within the DoD and space industries.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring staff; facilitate and mediate conflict and bring a global view to the Program Management office.
- Experience leading programs utilizing an Earned Value process, including customer reporting requirements.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and manage projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead project teams and provide clear direction and guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Employment Transparency
SALARY$70,752-$106,791 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
