Title of Position: Technology Specialist Level III
Position Type Full -time position based out of the Aurora office location
Frontier Business Products is seeking an experienced Technology Specialist Level III to join our Managed IT & Cybersecurity Services team. The primary focus will be to assist in maintaining and supporting the networks, environments, and end-users of managed clients, and well as delivering projects for new client on-boarding and setup of new systems within the Greater Denver Area.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in an IT support or consulting role
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with Microsoft Server, Office 365 & Microsoft Active Directory design, implementation, and support
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing excellent exceptional service directly to end users
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with LAN and WAN configuration, setup, and troubleshooting
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a BA/BS in related field, or relevant experience
- One or more of the following industry certifications Net , MCSA/E, MOS, CCNA, are preferred
- Possesses valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Desktop systems; particularly Microsoft Server 2012 and Office365 and a strong computer operations background.
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, Domain Infrastructures, Group Policy, Organizational Units, RDP, terminal services, file security, sharing and Windows Security. Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop and server. Install printers and peripherals. Coordinate additions, moves, changes and deletions of software, and user accounts on Windows 2008/2019 servers.
- 3 years of Experience with Office365 of setup, configuration, and administration of Exchange and Office 365
- Advanced technical skillset in LAN/WAN design and troubleshooting
- Advanced technical skillset in Windows operating systems: Windows (XP,7,8,10) Window Server (SBS,2008 R2,2012,2016,2019 etc.)
- Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot existing customer’s deployments and migrations
- Responsible for managing assigned tickets to meet service levels; maintain client documentation.
- Ability to provide Fast, Friendly and Amazing end-user support (via phone, email, face-to-face, remote-control software) to resolve technical issues.
- Virtual Server host and guest Setup and Configuration (VMware preferred)
- Managed Switch and Router, Configuration and Administration
- Firewall Configuration and Administration
- Wireless Network Configuration and Administration
- Backup Configuration and Administration
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; able to diagnose and fix complex and multifaceted problems.
- Skilled at interpreting complex network topologies
- Ability to manage and meet multiple project deadlines
- Ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Capable to act with a sense of urgency while paying attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in a positive, effective, and efficient manner
- Competent to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift equipment up to 40lbs
- After business hours work may be required
- Cover on-call rotation
- Local travel to clients will be required; required to have a valid driver’s license
