Job Summary
Design, implement and evaluate strategies to elevate FNU’s brand image and recruit new students with a focus on underrepresented students and those residing in rural and/or underserved areas.
Supervisor Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the student recruitment marketing and messaging plan for all programs in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications and department/unit leaders to create and maintain brand positioning and messaging strategy.
Plan, develop, and implement print and digital advertising campaigns, including local and national branding and student recruitment.
Develop and implement student recruitment initiatives including but not limited to Q&A sessions, mailing and email campaigns.
Lead coordination of student recruitment-focused conferences, events and presentations including the management of registration, logistics and event execution.
Coordinate and execute special events as needed.
Attend conferences for recruitment purposes.
Measure, track, and report the progress of student recruitment marketing and advertising initiatives.
Monitor and analyze competitors and target markets to develop effective recruitment strategies.
Coordinate student involvement in recruitment initiatives.
Manage development and maintenance of marketing and event materials and promotional items for use across multiple communications channels.
Lead copywriting, proofreading, and editing for recruitment-focused communications, marketing, and advertising materials and ensure brand and messaging consistency.
Provide service to the University through activities such as involvement in FNU shared governance (e.g. committees, workgroups), FNU sponsored activities (e.g. charity drives, community-outreach activities), and/or service to the profession (e.g. presentations, profession organization committee work).

Required Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of the principles and practices of recruiting in higher education
Knowledge of admissions policies and procedures.
Knowledge of diverse populations and cultures.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
Ability to travel frequently in a vehicle and airplane.
Reporting Relationship:
This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Work Location:
Eligible for hybrid telecommuting after 30 days of employment.
