Who you are:
As a Product Owner I, you are responsible for engaging and collaborating with a single team for a product focus area to implement Frost’s vision of products and services that are elegant, secure, and improve people’s financial lives. You will use your innovative mindset, effective communication skills and desire to do better by constantly creating and improving the Frost user experience. Most importantly, this role is about providing top-quality service and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver world-class products and services. Ensure that projects align with Frost’s vision to deliver elegant, useful, and secure technology.
- Effectively communicate a project’s impact to the quadruple bottom line, priority, development approach, and release plan to the internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish relationships and partner with customers, users, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to learn and research the product space, including how current products and services work and how to leverage new approaches and technologies.
- Develop solution descriptions and acceptance criteria for team use. Communicate business needs to IT support teams.
- Monitor the status of pending projects to ensure that the team remains focused on building relevant products with reliable architecture at an appropriate speed. As needed, adapt projects to maximize total value.
- Write acceptance criteria and requirements for projects to ensure that all projects are feasible and provides business value. Estimate project size and establish a clear minimum viable product (MVP).
- Establish a product backlog that flows work to an implementation team.
- Document current and proposed processes. Analyze the impacts of integrating proposed process changes with current processes.
- Ensure that all new features and programs meet business and system requirements.
- Evaluate potential process and system improvements to identify and prioritize future projects. Redesign current operational processes to utilize new technology and resources in a more efficient manner.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product management, customer experience management, business analysis, software engineering, banking, finance, or a related field
- Experience with digital technologies, including desktop and mobile platforms
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
