As Dispatcher/Customer Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely scheduling of our carpet cleaning technicians. You will be responsible for managing the scheduling and dispatching of service calls, ensuring that our technicians are well-equipped and dispatched to the right location with all necessary information. Your prior experience as a scheduler and dispatcher, proficiency using RazorSync scheduler software as well as knowledge of the apartment property industry will be instrumental in this role.
Lead Dispatcher Key Responsibilities:
- Service Call Customer Service: Own all in-bound service calls from customers via multiple channels (phone, email, text, online).
- Dispatch & Routing: Personally own all scheduling and dispatching via RazorSync dispatch software with goal of maximizing efficiency and minimizing redundancies and expenses.
- Prioritize Service Calls: Evaluate the urgency of service requests and prioritize dispatch accordingly, taking into account customer needs and technician availability.
- Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with customers (apartment property staff) regarding service appointments, technician arrival times, and job expectations.
- Service/Invoice Oversight: Utilize RazorSync to create, monitor and close out all service jobs with expectation of full accuracy.
- Emergency Response: Monitor after-hours service calls to ensure assistance to customers in urgent situations on nights & weekends.
Qualifications:
- Dispatch Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in scheduling and dispatching, preferably in DFW-area apartment industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, technicians, and team members effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of service calls, dispatch requests and accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to make quick decisions and solve problems under pressure.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- RazorSync (dispatcher/scheduler) Experience: must be able to demonstrate experience with RazorSync (or one of the major dispatcher & scheduling solutions on the market)
