Job Description
The Store Associate is a crucial role that is responsible for cataloging (lotting) products, preparing for auction pick up, and checking out customers items. Accuracy and efficiency is the cornerstone of our success as a business and a Store Associate is one of the best ways to start out at BidFTA.com. This position requires somebody who has a desire to directly impact the success of a business with their work ethic and attention to detail. We’re a fast paced but casual work environment that’s moving into a new growth stage and need people who are excited and passionate about the work they do and the team they are part of!
Lotting Details
Using a company provided iPad you will:
- Accurately find the item online by scanning a barcode (or manually searching if no barcode is available)
- Open the box (if there is a box)
- Determine the items condition based on a predefined criteria
- Determine if the item should be grouped and sold with other items or sold alone for maximum profit
- Take photos of the item
- Tape box closed (if there is a box)
- Place an ID sticker (lot code) on the item or box
Customer Checkout Details
Using a company provided iPad you will:
- Scan the customers QR code on a mobile or a printed invoice which will pull up their bidder account and show all of their prepaid items at your location.
- Take a picture of the customers Identification
- Scan the sticker on the item that they won
- Follow the prompts on the iPad to finish the checkout process
- You will also assist in finding missing items for customers and retrieving items from our secured area that holds expensive and some smaller items.

- Ability to work in a warehouse environment – Non temperature-controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
