Overview
FUJIFILM, Irvine Scientific has a new opportunity for an Account Manager for the Southeast.
This person will be responsible for generating sales and achieving forecast, developing new accounts, managing existing customers, and participating in the development of promotional activities to achieve profitable growth within assigned territory.
External US
• Creating and executing a comprehensive territory plan to meet or exceed sales quota within specified region• Building customer relationships by maintaining existing customers base while proactively identifying and advancing new customers.• Follow up on customer requests/needs for additional information, product suggestions, and facilitating resolution of customer issues. • Understanding and creating an active sales funnel while effectively advancing opportunities through the entire sales process• Generate and qualify sales leads for existing customer base as well as focusing on new incremental business• Qualify, develop, and close prospects according to overall strategic plan • Accurate territory forecasting, managing growth within the region and reduction of potential churn• Providing feedback to the internal commercial organization on changes in the market as well as the competitive intelligence. Provide feedback on “customer needs” for new and future products• Develop promotional activities within the region to drive revenue growth• Working within corporate expense guidelines• Assisting in training of new personnel• Participating in tradeshows, conferences, and marketing efforts• Travel expected 50%
Requisities:
• 2-3 years as an account manager selling into the Life Sciences Market• Experience in selling into the Drug Discovery market desired• Proven sales track record of success within current and previous roles
• Intermediate to high level of sales and marketing techniques in a technical environment
