Overview
FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Imaging Division (ID), Personalized Photo Products Group (PPPG) is hiring for a Film Splicer within the PPPG Analog Film Ops department. The Film Splicer will report to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for opening boxes with customer orders, extracting customer’s film from one-time use cameras, and operating a machine that splices negative film in preparation for film processing.

The Imaging Division (ID) provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The Industrial Products Division (IPD) supplies cutting-edge digital imaging and conventional film, chemistry and equipment to the NDT industry.

Responsibilities
- Follows established EHS guidelines as pertains to safety and PPE standards.
- Communicates effectively, efficiently, and appropriately with all employees.
- Meets the productivity expectations.
- Completes all paperwork required according to procedures.
- Opening boxes at a box opening station with customers envelopes.
- Extracting customer’s film from one-time use cameras.
- Operates a Film Splicer and troubleshoots equipment errors with limited assistance.
- Follows all Best Practices for handling customer’s film to avoid damages and mixes.
- Notifies supervisor if machinery is not operating correctly.
- May provide employee basic training as needed.
- Cross training will be required to perform multiple tasks within the department.
Required Skills/Education
- Ability to work in a fast paced, production oriented, team environment.
- The position requires a focus on quality and detail.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
